Le Creuset Chestnut Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients
- 5ml Vanilla Paste
- 1 Orange (Zest)
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 375ml Full Cream Milk
- 80g Pre-Cooked Roasted Chestnuts
- 100g 70% Dark Chocolate (plus extra for serving)
- Whipped Cream or foamy milk (to serve)

- Medium Sized Le Creuset Casserole Dish
- Wooden Spoon / Stirrer
- Hand Blender

Method
- First, finely chop the pre-cooked chestnuts and place in a medium sized Le Creuset casserole dish and then add the milk, vanilla paste, orange zest and cinnamon stick. On a medium heat, bring this to a boil whilst stirring occasionally, once boiled, turn off the heat, allowing the milk to infuse for a few minutes.
- To this mixture, remove the cinnamon stick and add the chocolate and honey. Mix well. Using a hand blender, blend until smooth and velvety.
- Serve hot with whipped cream or foamy milk and plenty of chocolate sprinkles. * Why not add some marshmallows on top? *
