Ingredients
For the sponge:
- 2 very ripe bananas
- 100g peanut butter *please ensure it is dog-safe
- 70g honey
- 175g of wholemeal flour
- 25g rolled oats
- 1 tsp of baking powder (optional)
- 200ml water
- 45ml vegetable or sunflower oil
For the frosting:
- 300g of potatoes
- A dollop of honey
- 100g of fat-free yoghurt or sour cream

Method
- Mash the bananas as smoothly as possible, then combine all the other wet ingredients in a bowl. Mix thoroughly, then sift in the flour, followed by the oats and baking powder (if using). Stir to combine. If the mixture appears too wet, add a bit more flour; if it's too thick, adjust with a little extra water or oil.
- Divide the mixture between 12-14 cupcake cases and bake at 180°C (160°C fan) gas mark 4, for around 22 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- While the cupcakes are baking, peel and boil the potatoes until they are fork-tender. Mash or blend for a smoother consistency, then stir in the yoghurt and honey.
- Top the cupcakes with the mashed potato mixture, garnish with a gravy bone and let your pup enjoy!
